Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her roles on the Fox medical series, House. As a child of strictly Jewish childhood the actress moved from Wayne into New York City when she was 18 to attend Tisch School of Arts. But very soon she was engaged in the city's nightclub scene, making enough splashes that she was seen by the media and concurrently, becoming aware of the devastation of AIDS. Then, she used her experience and fame, and her own experience to create and present a program called Positive Me. Awake in the Wild Side was her next assignment.
