Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a popular American following her win on American Idol's debut season. It was not just the victory that brought Kelly Clarkson to fame as it also secured her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for a number of albums. Since her debut, she released numerous albums. Three of those albums reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The other albums came close to reaching the top position. She was among the most popular performers on American Idol. She tried her hand at success with different musical themes and style, and often wrote songs of her own. As a tribute to her talent and individuality, she has received a lot of praise and accolades. She's been honored with an award called the Grammy Award 3 times. Alongside her career in music, she has also appeared in movies and TV shows. She is also the writer of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in numerous charitable organizations.
