Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. Her father is Argentine, of Scottish-English heritage. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy was born into a clan with six kids. Four of her siblings are from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six and the family relocated from the city of Victoria within London. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was a very difficult experience. She was not willing to study English and believed she would be able to return to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was required to switch schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes as well as participated in plays. After 16 she quit the school to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy always wished to work as an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to be a model.
